About Us
Liz Johns, Director and Founder of Hazelwood Accounting, is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. She has over twenty years’ experience working as a finance professional across the UK and abroad. Liz has gained significant operational and commercial expertise at board level in a consultancy and manufacturing environment here in the East Midlands. Liz has experience in delivering business change initiatives involving accountancy software implementation and business process change which means Hazelwood Accounting can support your growth in an impartial and independent way.
In addition to her CIMA accounting qualification, Liz has successfully undertaken a Graduate Diploma in Law at Nottingham Trent University solidifying her vast experience of reviewing terms and conditions and tender documents. Being part of the contract review team for a multi-national consultancy firm for a number of years has given Liz a unique perspective on managing business risk. This experience means that Hazelwood Accounting not only brings professional accountancy services but also can ensure that your business has strategies in place to minimise the commercial and other risks associated with your offering portfolio.
